The Passenger Emergency Communication Unit (PECU) is
installed on-board public transportation vehicles and provides critical
emergency communications between the public, public transportation
drivers and/or control centres. The design of the PECU device has been
reimagined, giving it an artistic appeal by forming it in a shape that resembles
a microphone. At the same time, the device clearly identifies itself to the
human subconscious as an emergency device, therby allowing the public to
engage in its easy and intuitive use.
