The Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery is one of the most promising candidates for the next-generation rechargeable batteries. But its practical implementation has been impeded by low active material utilisation, inferior cycling performance and poor safety. This project aims to realise a high energy-density Li-S battery with long lifespan and high safety to meet the needs of potable electronics and electrical vehicles.
